Makarska is the most famous destination on the Makarska
Riviera, after which it was named, it is suitable for all ages. Beautiful long
beaches with gradual entry into the sea is popular for families with children.
Entertainment in Makarska is offered by a long palm promenade, which is lined
with restaurants, cafes and bars with many cultural events such as concerts or
fun fishing nights. Above the city stands the mountain Biokovo, which protects
the city from bad weather. Makarska is a lively resort and the offer of
services here is really varied and guarantees an excellent holiday for
everyone.
Accommodatio Villa Mara:
The accommodation was completely renovated in 2017 and
guests have a reception, restaurant, elevator, Wifi connection throughout the
accommodation free of charge. Parking at the hotel is for a limited number of
cars (for a fee), Public parking about 100 meters from the accommodation (for a
fee). Villa Mara is located 450 metres from the beach on a gentle slope. It is
1.5 km from the city centre.
Rooms:
Modern furnished double rooms with the possibility of one
extra bed facing the mountain or sea. All rooms have a bathroom with toilet,
hairdryer, air conditioning, TV/Sat, small fridge and balcony. The family room
offers 1x double room and 1x room with two twin beds, the room has a side sea
orientation. Baby cot is free of charge on request.
